Fall Maintenance Checklist
Clean gutters and downspouts: Leaves and debris can clog gutters, causing water damage to your roof and walls. Clean them out to ensure proper drainage. Inspect and repair roof: Look for missing or damaged shingles, and make sure flashing is secure. A professional inspection may be needed if you suspect issues. Service heating system: Schedule a tune-up for your furnace or boiler to ensure it’s running efficiently and safely for the upcoming winter. Insulate pipes: Wrap exposed pipes in insulation to prevent them from freezing in cold temperatures.
