Lawn Buddies offers a double-core aeration, heavy overseeding blended with high doses of phosphorous. This helps fill in any bare spots that arise from the hot summer months due to heat stress and possibly lawn disease. 

When overseeding, Lawn Buddies uses a premium three-way tall fescue blend applied at a rate of 7-8 pounds per thousand square feet. While the aeration service will loosen up your soil, this heavy application of premium turf seed will germinate into new healthy turf over the course of several weeks. • Aeration and seeding is a service done to basically install a new lawn into your existing lawn. An aerator machine will pull tiny plugs from the soil to loosen it up, and in the same process, throw down seed to plant new grass. This will help fix dead/bare patches of grass from a lot of heat stress or insect damage.

• This service can keep your lawn looking amazing for years and years! When you are planting new seed into the grass, it is not only fixing any damage in the lawn but preventing any new problems from occurring. It’s always good to refresh the lawn by planting new seeds every year! You don’t want your soil to be too compact because it will be harder for water, seed, and fertilizer to get into the soil like it needs! That is why aeration is VERY important in the process of planting new seed.

• There is only one good time to do this service, which is in the fall. Many people may argue about seeding in the spring but the truth is, it simply will not work. If you plant the seed during the time of year that your weeds are growing the fastest, your new grass will have to compete for room against the growing weeds.
